NOISA "Prepare To Rule"  Scholarship Fund in honor of Brother Herman Muhammad

And speak not of those slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they are alive, but you perceive not.
Holy Qur'an 2:154

Brother Herman Muhammad was a young and very active member of the FOI in Muhammad Mosque #15 in Atlanta, Georgia, the Southern Regional headquarters of the Nation of Islam.  He was a rapper whose lyrics were based on the Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the guidance of Minister Louis Farrakhan. His lyrics were conscious, righteous and effective at reaching the youth not only in Atlanta but also in many cities across our nation.

He was shot and killed while saving the life of a female who had been inadvertently caught in the crossfire of a hail of bullets at a local Atlanta barber shop and salon.

In honor of his sacrifice, the Nation of Islam Student Association is offering a scholarship in his name showing that his example of courage and strength will not be forgotten as we unite with others to stop the violence and killing in our communities.

The qualifications are as follows:
